Patricia Rovzar Gallery is pleased to present the work of emerging artist Trudi Cedar West. A recent graduate from the Masters program at the University of California at Chico, Trudi Cedar West has embarked on an artistic career that brings to the gallery a fresh and innovative approach to painting.  Often applying canvas to canvas, or incorporating a series of canvases as a single image, the artist's multi-layering technique creates a three dimensional format to what is commonly a two dimensional media.  West's subject matter typically explores our identity through the use of common icons and objects such as fruit or hands.
